ECS Fence crew on the job under a dramatic sky Crafted and built to last
A note from the owner

We show up. Every time.

When you call, you get me — not a call center. When the crew shows up, I'm on the job with them. And when you have a question two years from now, the same number rings the same phone.

A walkthrough costs you nothing — not a deposit, not a "consultation fee," not a screening call. We drive out, walk the line with you, listen to what's actually going wrong, and leave you with a written number you can hold.

If we're a fit, great. If not, you've still got a quote and a plan. That's the deal.

Why neighbors actually call

Most calls start with a problem
not a product.

A new neighbor with a second-story addition. A puppy that figured out the latch. A pool inspector on the calendar. A house going on the market in 30 days. We start with what's wrong, then walk you through what fits.

Long run cedar privacy fence — ECS Fence install 01 · Privacy A yard that's yours again
When the neighbors get closer.

New construction next door. A second-story addition. A pool that suddenly has spectators. We walk the line and confirm what the city allows for height before you spend a dime.

Usually recommend6-ft cedar privacy or vinyl. Posts set in concrete below frost line.
Black residential chain link fence keeping the yard contained 02 · Dogs Escape-proof, even diggers
For the escape artist.

Diggers, jumpers, smart small breeds. Most fences fail at the bottom edge — ours don't, because we engineer for the dog before we frame the panel.

Usually recommend9-gauge wire with tension wire at the bottom. Posts set deeper where soil's loose.
Decorative aluminum fence to pool code — ECS Fence install 03 · Pool Insurance signs off first try
Pass code first try.

Closing date approaching. Insurance inspector on the calendar. New pool isn't legal until it's enclosed. We've done enough of these to know exactly what passes Nebraska code — see the full pool enclosure on our Facebook.

Usually recommend6-ft minimum aluminum or vinyl so kids can't climb it. Self-closing, self-latching gate hardware.
Black ornamental aluminum fence in residential front yard — curb appeal that closes 04 · Selling Curb appeal that closes
Don't lose $5K at the offer table.

Leaning sections. Missing slats. A 20-year-old chain link the buyer will use to negotiate. Sometimes it's a repair. Sometimes a replace. We'll tell you which one actually moves the needle.

Usually recommendHonest assessment first. If repair beats replace, we say so — even though install pays better.

A thank-you for your neighbors

$100 for you.
A solid crew for them.

"Send a neighbor our way. They get a fence done right. You get $100 in your hand the day they sign."

  • $100 cash, check, or transfer — your call.
  • Paid within 7 days of their deposit clearing.
  • No cap. Refer five neighbors, that's $500.
  • No fine print. No "valid only with…" nonsense.
A win all around

You get $100 just for making a good intro. Your neighbor gets a crew that's already been vouched for — no bidding wars, no "too good to be true" Google ads, no salesperson reading from a script. They skip the headache, you get paid, and a yard down the street gets a fence built right.

Honest work travels by word of mouth in this trade. The neighbors you point our way will thank you when they see the finished line. We just want to make sure you get a thank-you too.

Honest answers

Questions we get
before the deposit clears.

Is the walkthrough actually free? What's the catch?

Free, no catch. We drive out, walk the property with you, take measurements, and email you a written quote within 24 hours — no deposit, no consultation fee, no obligation. If we're a fit, great. If not, you've still got a quote and a plan. The only thing we ask is that you be home when we said we'd be there.

What's the deposit and when do I pay it?

50% of the total project cost, due before we order any material. It locks your spot on the calendar — we don't hold dates on a handshake, because material has gone up 30% in three years and we can't afford to. The remaining 50% is due the day the install is finished. Not before. Square handles payment, in person or by link.

Do you offer financing or payment plans?

No. We've watched too many small contractors get burned by financing partners that take 8–12% off the top and leave the homeowner blaming us when payments come due. We keep our prices honest by skipping the middleman. Most banks, credit unions, and home equity lines beat any contractor financing program anyway.

What about HOA approval?

HOA paperwork and submittal is the customer's responsibility — you know your board better than we ever will, and they'll want it from the homeowner directly. We'll happily provide spec sheets, drawings, color samples, and anything else they ask for to support your packet. We've worked with most of the big Omaha HOAs and know what flies and what doesn't.

What if you hit my sprinklers?

If they're marked and we hit one, we repair it on our dime. If they're not marked, the homeowner covers the repair. Mark your lines before we dig — paint cans are cheap insurance.

Do you work in winter?

Residential when the weather and soil cooperate — we're not setting posts in frozen mud. Commercial year-round; we use a skid steer that punches through frost. If you have a hard deadline (closing date, insurance inspection), call us and we'll figure it out together.

Where do you serve?

Omaha, Lincoln, Gretna, Fremont, Norfolk, Papillion, Bellevue, Elkhorn, and most of eastern Nebraska. If you're outside that radius, call us anyway — we travel for the right project.
